This weeks challenge for you is "SO CHARMING" - charms are becoming a big hit lately so what better time to get them out and create something with charms!!!! They don't have to be shop bought ones, you could make your own maybe from tin foil, shrink plastic, tin cans ( be careful here ,, don't want any injuries blamed on us !) :-)

This week, we have a VERY special guest designer with us, Wendy Vecchi. Wendy has an amazing blog !!!! She is pure talent! Not only does she design her own stamps, studio 490, she does design work for Maya Road,Tim Holtz,idea-ology and Ranger. Wendy is also an exclusive demo artist for Ranger and was demonstrating on the same Mexican cruise as our very own Heidi and Terra a few weeks ago !! Inks and stickles by Ranger jet black archival, olive archival & coffee archival
brushed corduroy, black soot, faded jeans, spiced marmalade & peeled paint distress ink

rock candy distress stickles
trinket pins by Maya Road

Sakura glaze pen, black
instructions:
Ink the chipboard base with brushed corduroy ink & edge with black soot, using the blending tool
Stamp the background stamp using coffee archival
stamp the alphabet border, using black ink
stamp 3 ferns, using olive archival
stamp a large & smaller studio 490 flower on grungepaper, cut out & ink with faded jeans on both sides
overstamp the flowers with the polka dot background stamp & black ink
shape the petals
stamp 3 leaves on grungepaper, cut out & ink with peeled paint, then stamp the backs with any background stamp
stamp the butterfly onto grungepaper, cut out & ink with spiced marmalade, then shape wings
mask off butterfly & stamp just the antennaetoward the left side of the hanging
assemble as shown
add rhinestone borders & rhinestones to the butterfly and rock candy distress stickles to the flower & butterfly
add accents with the glaze pen and the trinket pin
use 2 swivel clasps & a jump ring to make the hanger
sign & date the back...sit back & admire the art you created!
